Tamworth Street Angels is all about ensuring that people are able to feel safe on the streets of our town. We offer support, care and assistance to anyone who needs it and to those who become vulnerable during a night out.

 

We provide support through patrolling from 10:00pm on Saturday 

evenings to around 02:30am (and sometimes later than this if we are needed) on Sunday morning working alongside the emergency services and 

other agencies/organisations to make the town safer. We work in teams of a minimum of 3 individuals with at 

least one male and one female in each team. Basic first aid training together with 

relevant ongoing training is provided for all team members. When on patrol each team is 

in direct contact with Town Safe via a radio system.
